List of Fiber Rich Foods for Diabetics

Soluble Fiber

Insoluble fiber improves gastrointestinal function, while soluble fiber affects blood glucose. The recommended amount of fiber is 20-35 gms per day.

A popular home remedy for improving sugar levels is to take bitter gourd, as it contains hypoglycemic principle which helps in lowering the sugar level.

The simplest rule for diabetics is to stick on to their diet. Do regular exercise and take your medicines. A well balanced diet according to your needs is the key of long, happy and healthy life.
